Bedrooms at Beaches are en-suite, homely and comfortable, all have colour television and hot drinks tray, most are spacious and have a sofa, or a chair big enough to curl up in with your holiday book. Our small (and cheapest) bedroom boasts a glimpse of the North Sea over the roof tops of the village. We are very much a family business, with three generations helping out during the busy summer months, this ensures all our customers receive a warm welcome. We pride ourselves on offering great service, a combination, "we feel" makes us the perfect holiday base.
Dinner is served in our cosy dining room, bedecked with sea shanty decor, flickering ships lamps hang from the oak beamed ceiling and, during the winter months a log burning stove glows warmly in the fire place. We find our guests enjoy the relaxed informal atmosphere and the excellent food for which Beaches has become so well known over the past 10 years, whilst no longer Beaches Restaurant, (we are concentrating our efforts on Beaches B & B ) in the true sense of the word, we usually have one or two spaces available in our dining room for those of you who would like to join the Beaches experience one evening, give us a call. We offer both a fish and meat choice, (imaginative vegetarian dishes on request) fish is fresh from the boats of local fishermen, you could enjoy a fillet cut in our kitchen from a whole Halibut or Turbot or a chunky piece of Craster smoked Haddock baked in a Northumberland cheese sauce. Meat and game (in season) comes from the farms and Estates of Northumberland, Wild Boar is popular and our delicious home made steak pie with thick suet pastry crust gets the thumbs up every time! We are not licensed to sell alcohol but please feel free to bring along your own wine, beers etc. |
