Nestled in the Otter Valley, we are in an idyllic countryside location between the historic market town of Ottery St Mary and the Regency resort of Sidmouth. Come and stay in our beautifully restored Georgian farmhouse and enjoy a good nights sleep!
The farm comprises 35 acres and is home to a small flock of Romney sheep, some Large Black pigs, free range hens and horses. Our old orchard, wildflower meadows, majestic trees and hedgerows provide a haven for wildlife, wildflowers and fruit. From darting swallows to soaring buzzards, foxgloves and bluebells there is always something of interest no matter which season you visit.
Lancercombe Farm offers two relaxing en-suite rooms, one king size and one double. Both rooms have uninterrupted views over the garden and to the Otter Valley beyond. Each room has tea and coffee making facilities, digital TV, Egyptian cotton bedding, hairdryer and wireless broadband.
Breakfast is served in the dining room. A hearty home cooked breakfast is offered, as well as farmhouse and wholemeal breads, fruit, cereals, yogurts, a choice of teas, coffee and fruit juice. Many of the ingredients are home produced or locally sourced and are organic where possible. Please notify us if you have any special dietary requirements.
Guests are welcome to relax in our private guest lounge, with wood burning stove and large comfortable sofas. In the summer months, feel free to unwind in our spacious walled garden. The house has a non-smoking policy for the comfort of all our guests. |
