Pine Lodge Guest House in Lynton is a beautiful Victorian building situated in a sunny sheltered location away from the road on the West Lyn River valley but only a short stroll to the centre of the village. We offer a lovely AA 4 star Guest House, and welcome our guests in a warm and friendly atmosphere to help you relax and enjoy your stay.

We provide bed and breakfast with an evening meal on request. Our breakfast ranges from full English with a selection of fresh fruits and cereals plus catering for dietary needs when informed. Our fully licensed premises can offer evening meals (starting in October into May) with truly home cooked food with the emphasise on good old fashioned cuisine with warming stews, soups, meat pies, roasts and vegetarian needs.

The bedrooms are spacious and quietly decorated, offering comfortable well equipped rooms with TV, hospitality trays, and serviced daily. All rooms have en-suites with a shower and/or a bath. Also for those that need to keep in touch with the outside world we have wireless Internet connection for your laptop.

Our landscape gardens are open to all our guests where they can relax to enjoy the spectacular views and watch the vast amount of bird life, which are attracted to the garden.

Pine Lodge has the advantage of a private 7 bay car park. You can leave the car or motorbikes safely parked and take an easy 5 minute stroll into the village of Lynton where there are shops, a variety of eating places and pubs to select from.

 

Lynton Attractions

 
Exmoor is one of the smallest National Parks, it straddles the Devon and Somerset boundary overlooking the Bristol Channel. Its landscape incorporates farms, small towns and villages where people live and work, as well as being an ideal place for you to enjoy walks in awe inspiring countryside. The spectacular combination of sweeping moorland and rugged coastline just invites you to get those walking boots on!

The Watersmeet estate comprising fast-flowing rivers, steep wooded hillsides, high farmland and open moor runs almost parallel with the coastline. At its centre is Watersmeet House, built in 1830, now accommodates a small restaurant and shop. Here Hoar Oak Water and the East Lyn river meet. Sit, relax take your ease and part-take of that cream tea you have been promising yourself, whilst enjoying the magnificent scenery and the mesmerising rumbling flow of the water.
