Bed and Breakfast Description

 

The Coach House is open all year round and offers single, twin, double and triple/family accommodation. All bedrooms are well furnished and have the following facilities: ensuite shower room (towels, soap and shampoo provided), individually controlled central heating, remote control colour television, free wireless internet access available on request, tea and coffee tray, dressing table/desk, hairdryer & iron and board available.

We have a number of rooms on the ground floor. If you would like to reserve a ground floor room, please request this when you book. Visitors are welcome to smoke in the garden, where seating and ashtrays are provided at the front and rear of the Guest House.

 

Derby Attractions

 
Melbourne is a small and attractive Georgian market town in a delightful part of South Derbyshire with an interesting range of shops, pubs and restaurants. You can stroll round the magnificent formal gardens of Melbourne Hall, browse round the Visitors Centre and Estate Workshops and take a break in the Tea-rooms, or pay a visit to the parish church, one of the finest in England, dating back to 1086 and described as “a cathedral in miniature”.

There is a frequent bus service to Derby with a bus stop right outside The Coach House. Melbourne is in The National Forest, an environmental project packed with places to take the whole family, for a great short break or a brilliant day out, whatever the weather.
