Centrally heated with comfortable, stylish bedrooms and a snug with a cosy fireplace gives a real country feeling.

The garden, paddock and barbeque area, bordered by a stream and ancient woodlands beyond, are free for guests to enjoy. The Devon Long House & The Litte House are available to rent individually or together to accommodate up to nine people.
The groundfloor has a breakfast / dining room with traditional farmhouse table and chairs and a comfortable snug with a woodburner, TV and DVD where you can hang out, or perhaps enjoy a nightcap when you are back from the pub! We have a library and a book swap shelf. If you feel like a late night game of chess, go ahead!
There are three bedrooms upstairs, 2 doubles and a single. Both doubles have an ensuite shower room, TV with DVD player, clock radio, fluffy towels, luxury linens, a dressing table and plenty of storage, hairdryers and a view of the paddock and woodland beyond.

Barnstaple Attractions |
| |
We have walked all the local footpaths and trails, when you arrive ask for a copy of Jo and Jerry’s local walks, we have written our own. There are lots of walks direct from the Long House, most involve hills of varying gradients, all have fantastic views, and all are dog friendly, some involve a pub or cream tea stop en route. We can pack up a picnic for you or for a special occasion we will set your picnic up for you and bring it all away.
The buzzing village of Braunton is just 5 minutes drive away. Here you will find everything you need: restaurants, pubs, shops, supermarkets, butcher etc etc, and lots of surf shops. Barnstaple is also just 4 miles away, an old market town which has all the shops you will need. There are shopping centres along with traditional markets. We suggest taking a trip down Butchers Row and picking up some steaks for a barbecue by the stream in the evening. There is a very quaint cinema and lots of busy pubs and restaurants.
Saunton Sands and Croyde beaches are 10 minutes drive away where you can swim, surf, kite surf, wind surf and walk the dog where you can explore the miles of sand dunes…! Rock pooling is a favourite too. There are traditional beach huts, cafés, pubs and restaurants. Go to Cascades indoor fun pool or play Golf! . Crow Point is a great beach combing, fishing and picnic spot.
In 20 minutes you can reach Woolacombe Bay, an old-fashioned seaside village with a breathtaking beach, crazy golf, pony rides on the beach, sheepdogs and falconry display and Pleasure Lawns Amusement Centre. |
