Bed and Breakfast Description

 

A friendly welcome awaits you in this comfortable home. The farm is home to grass fed beef cattle and a small stud of competition horses, who carry the prefix ‘Allercombe’. There are plenty of stables and well behaved children and dogs are also welcome. Room details include:

Room 1
A large double room with space for an extra bed. There is an en-suite bathroom with separate shower.

Room 2
An attractive cosy double room with private bathroom adjacent to the room.

Room 3
Twin room with a spacious en-suite shower room. A delightful room with beautiful views over the gardens.

All rooms have complimentary tea, coffee and water and include a colour television with digital services. We also offer Wireless Internet Access. There are ironing facilities and a hair dryer is also available. We also serve a marvellous full breakfast with all your favourites served in our farmhouse kitchen.

 

Exeter Attractions

 
Lower Allercombe Farm is ideally situated to take full advantage of the region's attractions. There is lots to do around East Devon.

Sidmouth, Exmouth and the South Coast are only 7 miles, with the stunning cliffs and beaches of the Jurassic Coast all within easy reach. Why not take a trip along the Exe Estuary with Stuart Line Cruises sailing from Topsham and Exmouth.

The Dartmoor National Park is only a 30 minute drive; Cornwall and the Eden project are just over an hour away along the A30. The National Trust houses of Killerton and À la Ronde are nearby. Our local town of Ottery St. Mary is a charming place with fascinating historical connections and the beautiful River Otter providing superb walking.

You can always check out one of the many shows or concerts that are put on at the Westpoint Arena. Escot Park also has a wide range of events for you to enjoy.

We have several good pubs locally including the award-winning ‘Jack In The Green’ at Rockbeare who also offer balloon flights.

Turn off the A30 at the "Daisy Mount" exit
At the roundabout take the 3rd exit onto B3174/Exeter Rd
At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto B3180 towards Exmouth
Take the 1st right onto Brickyard Road
After about a mile turn right at Allercombe crossroads
Proceed down the lane and you will find us on the right hand side
