Bed and Breakfast Description |
| |
|
Welcome to Norbin Farm, a family-run bed and breakfast, close to Bath and Bradford-on-Avon. If you haven't visited the area before, Norbin Farm is an excellent choice: close to local attractions and amenities, but far enough away from town and city to provide a calm and peaceful place to stay.
Guests at Norbin Farm can choose between double, single and family bedrooms, all of which have en-suite shower facilities, toiletries, hairdryer, colour television and complimentary tea and coffee making facilities.
We welcome children and families and have ample parking space available. Our rooms are all on the ground floor and have their own front doors, allowing our guests to come and go as they please.
A full, farmhouse style English breakfast is served each morning from 7:15 to 9:00, using free range eggs and local produce (special diets can be catered for with prior notice). Breakfast is served in the attractively decorated dining room with views over the surrounding countryside; a perfect place to relax and plan your day. |

Corsham Attractions |
| |
Norbin Farm is superbly located for anyone wanting to visit Bath, Wiltshire, the Cotswolds, or the south-west of England. We're situated on the southern tip of the Cotswold hills, just fifteen minutes' drive away from the city of Bath, and roughly half an hour's drive from a wealth of other attractions.
Steeped in history from the Roman era right up to the present day, the beautiful Georgian city of Bath is a day out in itself. In the city centre, the roman baths, pump rooms, Thermae Spa, and the abbey are all close to each other; allow a day and take time to explore the roman baths museum before moving on to the abbey and finishing off with some shopping! Bath is a small city with a compact city centre (packed with interesting little shops), so it's easy for sightseers to walk between most of the city's major attractions. But if you'd like to take in the sights at a more leisurely pace, there are several open-top bus tours which will guide you around the city. Boat trips along the river Avon are also available.
Corsham has the picturesque stone buildings and quiet main street that you'd expect from a Cotswold market town — it's a great place to shop or pick up provisions for a trip further afield. To the east of the the town, the house and gardens of Corsham Court are also well worth a visit, although we recommend you check the Corsham Court website for opening hours before visiting.
Bradford-on-Avon is an attractive town with buildings dating back to the 1600's, including a saxon church and tithe barn. The Kennet and Avon canal runs through the town on its way from Devizes to Bath — narrow boats and cycles are available to hire for trips along the canal.
Generally regarded as 'the prettiest village in England', Castle Combe is situated in a deep, wooded valley — peaceful, secluded, and utterly charming. Village pubs serve food, and there are lovely country walks to be taken through the surrounding woods and farmland. |
