Bed and Breakfast Description

 

Ford Farmhouse offers friendly hospitality in comfortable attractive rooms in the tranquil village of Harberton. Come and relax quietly beside the stream in our secluded cottage garden.

We offer two double rooms, one of which is ensuite and one has its own private bathroom (cosy bathrobes provided). Both have flat screen digital television, tea & coffee making facilities and hairdryers. An attractive single room, overlooking the cottage garden, is available by special arrangement.

Breakfast is served in our lovely beamed dining room. There is a choice of the traditional full English, continental or vegetarian. Vegans can be catered for by prior arrangement at the time of booking. Plenty of fresh fruit, yoghurts, juices and a variety of cereals are served. There is also a comfortable sofa on which to relax and read.

We regret that we cannot cater for children under 12 and have no facilities for pets. Please note that we cannot accept credit cards for payment.

 

Totnes Attractions

 
Harberton is home to stunning St Andrew's Church and the unspoilt 13th century Church House Inn serving excellent lunches, evening meals and real ales only two minutes' walk away.

Harberton and its surrounding area offers some lovely walks, Totnes with its wealth of history is only two and a half miles away. Exeter, and Plymouth and Dartmouth with their naval connections, can be reached within half an hour, as can the beautiful and numerous Devon beaches. There is something for everyone in the South Hams.
 

B&B Location
 
Head south from Totnes on the A381 Kingsbridge Road. After about 2 miles turn right at signpost "Harberton 3/4 mile". Look for the brown "Church House Inn" tourist sign at this junction.

On entering the village, turn right immediately before a terrace of four Victorian houses. You will see St Andrew's Church and its lych gate directly in front of you.

Ford Farmhouse is on your right. Park on the quiet road directly in front of the house.
