Bed and Breakfast Description

A warm welcome awaits you with tea and coffee at Roy and Maureen Hathway's Grade II listed Kentish Barn.

We have for the past eight years lovingly converted Twitham Barn, almost single-handed, from a disused farm building to the breathtaking, luxurious vision we strove to achieve all those years ago. It has only this year been completed.

Twitham Barn is a four bay barn, a secluded sanctuary surrouded by fields. It is detached and situated in a very quiet rural hamlet, not overlooked. It was built circa 1700 and is nestled in the heart of the beautiful "Garden of England".

There is a large pond and a delightful landscape garden to the front of the barn. To the rear there is a large terrace, lawn and pretty flower and shrub beds which is totally secluded and not over looked.

If your visit is to celebrate a special occasion and you wish to to bring your own wine or champagne,we would be pleased to chill this for you and supply glasses. Our aim is to provide you with a quality stay in a luxury and comfortable environment for you to relax and enjoy the finest Kentish hospitality.

Twitham Barn is situated between the villages of Wingham and Staple.
