In essence, Lynch Country House has everything to offer those whishing to get away from it all. Built in the days of gracious living, the magnificent country house totally surrounded by National Trust land, and is elevated high above the beautiful Vale of Porlock. With its unrivalled scenic views and its peaceful and extensive gardens it is a nature lovers paradise. With the climate being exceptionally mild, sub-tropical plants, unusual shrubs and trees can be found within the gardens at Lynch. Among the palm trees and mimosa, the lake and the river, the rose and water garden give an added delight to the grounds. With breathtaking views of the sea, coastline and Exmoor National Park, Lynch Country House enjoys a southerly aspect.
The house provides a small number of spacious apartments and B&B rooms, all of which have their own individuality and style while retaining the essential character of the ancient house. Each apartment is excellently appointed to a very high standard, providing cosiness and comfort. We have two bed and breakfast rooms with washing accommodations. The rooms are located at the front of the house on the first floor and have wonderful views across the garden to Porlock Hill and the coastline. |
