Joe and Louise McShane extend a warm welcome to their family run bed and breakfast guest house. Close to the historic Barbican, the excellent shopping facilities of Plymouth City Centre, Train, Coach and Ferry Terminals.

With rooms to suit all your requirements from budget to en~suite ~ Double, Twin, Family and Single rooms available. All rooms are are equipped with complimentary beverage tray, colour tv, hairdryer, alarm clock, ironing facilities and free wifi internet access.  We are also able to provide a free fax send and receive service.

In the morning enjoy a full English breakfast in our comfortable dining area, with views across Plymouth Hoe.

Tastefully decorated with a warm and pleasant atmosphere, all found at Avalon Guest House in Plymouth which will ensure that your stay in Plymouth is a memorable one ensuring your return to us time after time.

You'll never be lost for something great to do in Plymouth. Plymouth is an extra-ordinary blend of vibrant modern city and historic seafaring port.

Just a short walk from our Bed and Breakfast is Plymouth's modern City Centre and historic Barbican.
The National Marine Aquarium is the largest in Britain and is also situated on The Barbican together with art galleries and an array of individual and unique shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants.

Plymouth City Centre with the addition of Drake Circus Shopping Mall, the largest indoor shopping mall in the South West, is a delight for shoppers.

Plymouth is also home to one of the best theatres in the Country, The Theatre Royal, with top class programmes from drama to musicals. In addition, Plymouth Pavillions is the major regional venue for both pop and classical concerts, top comedians and sporting events.

Then look out for The Hoe and Sea Front signs.

The Bus Station is behind us within a ten minute walk and the Railway Station can be walked in twenty minutes.
