Bed and Breakfast Description

 

This comfortable and friendly medium-size hotel with outdoor heated swimming pool is set in a beautifully converted detached Victorian villa built in the 1850s. We have a selection of room types and some of our bedrooms have panoramic south facing sea views showing the whole of Torbay.

We offer free car parking facilities for all guests, are centrally located within town. Our outdoor heated swimming pool is open from May to end of September each year. Breakfast served overlooking the swimming pool. We are an entirely non-smoking hotel.

All our rooms comfortably and tastefully furnished with matching and complementary décor. They include full en suite facilities with showers, toilet and washhand basins incorporated, one of our standard double rooms has bath and shower over in addition to this some of our rooms have wet-room showers incorporated. The rooms also have as what you would expect of a hotel of such quality - remote control flat screen televisions, beverage making facilities, radio alarms and hair dryers. We also have a small number of larger superior rooms. These are more spacious rooms with additional bedroom facilities, including DVD/CD players and mini fridges. From our vantage point on Shedden Hill, a number of rooms have south facing pool views and sea views over the clear sweep of Torbay. An amazing view of the whole of Torbay.

 

Torquay Attractions

 
Torquay has one of the warmest and most comfortable climates in the United Kingdom and even in the winter we rarely have frosts. There is always something to see and do and lots of attractive places to visit to suit every taste. We are within half a mile of Torquay’s main railway station, the Riviera Conference Centre and Torquay Princess Theatre. An ideal place to stay for both leisure or business.

Heading into Torquay from Newton Abbot on the Newton Road at Torre Station take the right filter down Avenue Road and then onto Kings Drive until you reach the seafront. Turn Left and continue to the Belgrave Road junction. Stay in the left lane and go up Shedden Hill Road until you reach a set of traffic lights at the top of the hill. Turn left and Hotel Cimon is the second building on the left.
