Bed and Breakfast Description

David and Tina Ward offer a warm welcome in relaxed surroundings. Two new purpose built rooms attached to the bungalow are large and comfortable. One has twin beds and the other a double bed. Both have an en-suite bathroom with shower or bath, and the rooms are self-contained with their own key, so that you can come and go as you please. There is also ample space for off road parking. Home made and local produce is used for breakfast wherever possible, and on fine summer mornings breakfast can be taken in the garden.

Norwich Attractions

Brundall is a pleasant Broadland village close to the River Yare and with its long history of boat building it is convenient for the fine cathedral city of Norwich, the Strumpshaw bird reserve, and the Broads generally. It has excellent road links being just off the Eastern end of the A47 Norwich by-pass with its park-and-ride facility for trips into Norwich. There is also an excellent rail link – the Wherry Line – between Lowestoft, Yarmouth and Norwich, and from Norwich onwards to Cromer, Cambridge and London. The village possesses a high class restaurant and there are three public houses serving food within easy distance.

RSPB Strumpshaw Fen - Situated in the heart of the Norfolk Broads, Strumpshaw fen has nature trails leading you through reedbeds and woodland. You can also walk through orchid meadows and spot swallowtail butterflies, Norfolk Hawker dragonflies, and maybe even a bittern.

Strumpshaw Hall Steam Museum - The museum has Steam Engines, Huge 100 ton working Beam Engines, Narrow Gauge Railway, 1930 Fairground Ark, Mechanical Organs & Memorabilia, and much more, plus Rare Breed Birds.

St. Lawrence's Church - St. Lawrence's church serves the village of Brundall. It has a font believed to date from the 13th Century and a notable small round stained-glass window depicting St. Lawrence.
