Bed and Breakfast Description

 

The original farmhouse dates from the 18th century and sits within five acres of grounds in Hengrave Common, a designated Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSI). The farm is a haven for wildlife; Barn Owls can be seen quartering the surrounding fields in search of a meal, whilst Tawny Owls call from the nearby woods. We regularly see Deer and have even glimpsed an Otter in the stream which meanders through the grounds.

There are two spacious double rooms, one with a fully en-suite bathroom and its own courtyard...the other with its own private luxury shower and washroom. Both rooms have television and there is a wireless internet connection if required. Guests eat in a large dining room, which looks out over the gardens to the stream and woodlands.

 

Reepham Attractions

 
For walkers, the area is well served. The long distance Marriotts Way footpath is a short walk from the farm. This 24 mile disused railway track links with the Weavers Way at Aylsham, A sixty mile round trip if you are up to it! For less adventurous guests the 5 mile Winch’s Way encompasses three commons and an interesting mix of countryside and can be accessed from the end of the drive.

Go through 2 roundabouts 5.4 mi
Slight right toward The St 1.6 mi
Continue straight onto The St 0.3 mi
Turn left at Kett's Ln
Destination will be on the right 0.2 mi
