Carrick’s at Castle Farm is a 5 star guest house located in Swanton Morley, Norwich, Norfolk boasting full bed and breakfast accommodation. Located in the heart of a 720 acre working farm comprising arable and livestock Carrick’s guest house is the perfect place to for that well earned short break or weekend away in the country. Carrick’s is a family run guest house and we pride our selves on the personal service that we provide all of our guests, all produce used for breakfast is locally sourced and farmed. The guest house is only a short distance from the city of Norwich and surrounding coastal towns such as Wells, Holt and Holkham.

The recently refurbished rooms are to a high standard of comfort with luxury beds and bedding with up to the minute technology of flat screen TV with freeview, DVD/CD player, internet access and telephones in each room. Beautiful toiletries from Gilchrist and Soames and soft dressing gowns to soothe away the stresses and strains of the everyday world are provided in every room. Enjoy excellent breakfasts with local food from the village and surrounding farms. A stroll round the gardens or a walk along one of our farm walks, relax by the river either fishing or just watching the day go by or simply reading a booking in the Drawing Room in peace and quiet.

 

Dereham Attractions

 
We are centrally situated in Norfolk with easy access to Dereham (5 miles), Norwich 16 miles, the Broads and North Norfolk a 45 minute drive. The village of Swanton Morley has a very long history as can be seen by visiting our Church of All Saints. The village shops offer a very diverse choice from the General Stores and Post Office. The Mill Bakery and SM Butchers ensure that we have the very best choice of provisions together with Darby’s Freehouse and The Angel offering both good ales and good food. Brochures and leaflets on Visitor attractions are available from the table in the Hall.
