Bed and Breakfast Description

 

A warm friendly welcome awaits you at Ashby's Guest House.

Here at Ashby’s we welcome people of all ages. We are well positioned being only a minutes stroll from the beach/promenade and regent road, and all the other attractions that Great Yarmouth offers.

Our family run guest house offers 4 doubles, two twin (one on ground floor)and one family room all with ensuite shower rooms, and 1 single room which has the use of a private shower and wc. All the rooms have a colour TV and tea/coffee making facilities. The family room can take two adults and 2 children.

Start your day with a good hearty breakfast cooked by Debbie, before starting to explore what the area has to offer. We are only a minute from the beach and main shopping street with all its shops and restaurants. There are plenty of other attractions in and around the area with the Norfolk Broads only a few minutes ride away.
Come to Great Yarmouth for your Shopping or an early break and stay a few days.

 

Great Yarmouth Attractions

 
In and around Great Yarmouth there are a number of museums to explore.

If it’s a quiet relaxing sport your after then why not come to the bowls festival in August / September. [See the tourist board for information and dates].

If horse racing is your thing, Great Yarmouth racing which is approx 2 miles from our location.

The pleasure beach is only a short stroll away approx 10 minutes. There is also the 3 miles of sandy beach to relax on and get ready for a night time of entertainment. During late July till the end of August, every Wednesday night there is a fireworks display on the beach. Want to take in a show then book a seat at the Britannia Pier which hosts throughout the summer some Britain’s best acts, and again its only minutes away from our location.

From the A47 come along the Acle new road in to Great Yarmouth straight on at the two islands on Fullers Hill. Turn left at traffic lights where you will see Sainsbury‘s on your left.Keep on this road for approx 150 yards. At the traffic lights head straight on and then turn right after approx 50 yards in to Wellesley Road. Approx 100 yards on right you will find Ashby’s guest house. Welcome !
