Bed and Breakfast Description

 

Invertruin B&B is a small, family-run bed and breakfast situated 2 miles to the north of Edinburgh city centre. Its late Victorian architecture offers comfortable surroundings, a friendly atmosphere and picturesque views over the city.

A private car park is available, and collection can be arranged from Edinburgh Airport and either Waverly or Haymarket train stations.

There are two rooms available from a choice of three, each with beautiful views overlooking either the garden or the city. Breakfast is included in the price of the room.

Prices remain the same all year round, and include breakfast.

Breakfast is served in the large traditional dining room. There are seats available in the back garden for use in warm weather.

B&B Location
 
From the airport - Exit from the airport and follow A8 towards Edinburgh. Drive under Gogar underpass, then immediately take left lane. At traffic lights by Maybury Casino, turn left (between Maybury and Petrol station) towards Barnton. At Barnton Junction, turn right, on A90 towards City Centre. At Kwik Fit garage, bear left, signposted A902 Leith, onto Telford Road. Follow Telford Road to Crew Toll Roundabout. Take third exit, Ferry Road, signposted Leith. Go through traffic lights at Morrison's, through second traffic lights at T junction. Invertruin is on the left hand side after next turning on left (Boswell Drive), opposite a traffic island.

Directions from North - Head South over Forth Road Bridge. Follow A90 towards Edinburgh until reaching Barnton Junction. Follow directions from Barnton as shown above.

Directions from South - Take Edinburgh Ring Road to West End. Turn right, on A8 to City Centre. Take left hand exit at Maybury Casino, and follow directions from Maybury as shown above.
