Harbour View B&B hotel is an historic Grade II listed building, situated in the inner harbour of Brixham's picturesque fishing port. Formally the Harbour Masters house, our bed and breakfast offers comfortable en-suite accommodation and enjoys spectacular panoramic views across Brixham harbour and beyond to Paignton and Torquay. We have been welcoming guests to Brixham since 1932. A small hotel of character, Harbour View B&B offers a friendly welcome and clean comfortable accommodation. Whether you are seeking a short break or holiday in idyllic costal surroundings or a nice place to stay whilst on business or visiting friends or family, Steve & Stuart look forward to welcoming you to Harbour View.

We offer clean comfortable rooms and with everything on your door step we are great value for money. Open your window, take in the views and breathe the fresh clean sea air. All rooms feature en-suite shower, wash basin & WC or private bathroom, comfortable beds, goose down duvets, crisp white cotton sheets, flat screen TV’s with at least 70 free view channels and DVD players, tea & Coffee trays, alarm clock radios, guest controlled central heating and a hairdryer.

 

Brixham Attractions

 
Life in Brixham primarily revolves around the sea, so for all you water lovers there are plenty of opportunities to get your feet wet. Boat trips to Torquay & Dartmouth, fishing, sailing, scuba diving, canoeing, swimming and sunbathing are all right on your doorstep.

For those who would prefer to stay firmly on dry land there is a huge variety of activities and places to visit including spectacular walks to suit all abilities be it coastal or parkland. Play a round of golf at nearby Churston Golf Club, or why not just watch the world go by with a pint of beer or a cup of tea from your favourite harbour side pub or restaurant? Of course you can also buy shellfish from the stalls around the harbour, eat fish & chips from the paper or dine in some of the very fine fish reataurants in town.

Berry Head Country Park
Spectacular coastal scenery surrounds Brixham and none is more breathtaking than Berry Head perched high on the cliff tops. The area is a National Nature Reserve with many rare species of plants. It also features Napoleonic fortifications. Our suggested walk listed above gives you a taste of this beautiful area.

Kents Caven
Kents Cavern is one of the most important Palaeolithic caves in Northern Europe and the oldest recognisable human dwelling in Britain. It holds beautiful and spectacular geological formations and significant prehistoric finds, some over 700,000 years old. Sadly, Brixham's own Cavern is not open to the public, but this is the nearest you can get to experiencing it.

The Golden Hind
A spectacular replica of Francis Drake’s ship stands proudly in Brixham Harbour and welcomes visitors on board.

Heritage Boats
Brixham’s fishing heritage has been brought back to life by a fleet of six wooden sailing trawlers that can be seen gracing the Bay. Most of them are owned by enthusiasts or sailing trusts and offer adventure holidays and sailing trips for local people and visitors.

Follow the A380 onto the A3022 Brixham Road and follow signs to Town Centre & Harbour. Turn left at the traffic lights then right at the next T junction. Harbour View is on the right of the Inner Harbour.
