Bed and Breakfast Description

 

Number 45 is a completely relaxing home in a small unspoiled village which is within easy reach of the coast. The house has been recently fully renovated and is comfortable and easy to live in. There are plenty of books to browse through and you are welcome to make use of the collection of DVDs and large screen home cinema. Breakfast is cooked with organic local ingredients and vegetarian options are available. As well as a separate guest sitting room the lovely garden is at your disposal at anytime during your stay. There are endless things to do and places to see in the area, but if you do want to return to base during the day please feel free. Each room has its own bathroom and tea and coffee making facilities. The house has a well behaved and friendly cat, Monty, so unfortunately guests’ pets can not be accommodated.

 

Dereham Attractions

 
We are five miles from Holt, seven from Fakenham and nine from the beautiful Coast at Blakeney. We have plenty of leaflets of local sites and places to go. Or you can enjoy the countryside around the village, there are several walks and footpaths that we can direct you to.
 

B&B Location
 
If approaching from Norwich...Travel on the A1047 to Foxley. Beyond Foxley you will see a big white water tower on your left. Take the right turn directly opposite the water tower toward Foulsham. Pass through Foulsham and after a couple of miles you will enter Hindolveston. When you reach the T junction at the end of the lane we are the house with the green door immediately in front of you.

If approaching from Fakenham...Take the A148 (signed Cromer) as far as Little Snoring. Take the right filter to Kettlestone (be aware there are a couple of turnings to Kettlestone before this - wait until Little Snoring and the filter!). Stay on this narrow country road (past Kettlestone and Fulmodestone and over two cross roads) and it will take you all the way to Hindolveston, and indeed Number 45 The Street which is half way through the village on your left. Don’t be confused by the house numbering in Hindolveston; the road changes from Fulmodestone Road to The Street by the Church.
