Bed and Breakfast Description

Set in 3 acres of grounds, this beautifully secluded property dates back to around 1800

All 4 rooms are spacious and equipped to a very high standard. The elegant proportions of the guest dining room and separate lounge provide an opportunity to unwind after a day's travel

This year we gained the enjoyengland.com breakfast awardf

The food is generously and carefully selected and prepared using local ingredients wherever possible. We now have 8 free range hens and our eggs are beautifully fresh and golden yolked. Our local butcher sourses all meat very locally and even tells us the breed of animal and the farm it was reared on.
Our hens will soon be laying fresh golden-yolked eggs!
The rooms feature kingsize beds, en-suite bathrooms, fridge, TV, hospitality tray etc

Your hosts promise a friendly welcome and aim to develop the business by personal recommendations from highly satisfied guests.

You are welcome to enjoy the grounds throughout your stay.

Kings Lynn Attractions

Take a step back in time and explore more of West Norfolk's fascinating history. As well as the maritime legacy of King's Lynn - Captain George Vancouver, whose voyages took him to Canada, was born here in 1757 – there's plenty more history to discover in the beautiful West Norfolk countryside.

Trues Yard - The last remaining fishermen's yard in King's Lynn's fishing quarter, the North End - fully restored, with a museum, gift shop and tea room.

The Town House museum - The Town House Museum displays the domestic life of Lynn's merchants, traders and families from Medieval times to the 1950s. Using reconstructed room settings you can see aspects of everyday life in the Middle Ages.

Tales of the Old Gaol House - Let your imagination run riot as your personal stereo guide takes you through King's Lynn's 1930s police station and into the old cells beyond, where smugglers caught by the revenue men of the Custom House would be thrown.

Norfolk Lavender - Caley Mill, the headquarters of Norfolk Lavender Ltd, was originally a water mill for grinding corn. Built in the local carrstone in the 19th century, and now set in its garden of lavender, roses and herbs, it has become a distinctive Norfolk landmark. In the grounds, we also have a National Collection of Lavenders. Each variety or species has its own bed. There are over 100 different lavenders to see and smell.
