A warm welcome awaits you from Linda and Paul upon arrival to our 3 star quality Bed and Breakfast accommodation offering a total of 8 comfortably furnished bedrooms all with en-suite, colour television and tea & coffee making facilities. Ebor Mount is a non-smoking guesthouse. Price for Family room is based on three person sharing.

We are superbly situated within 5 minutes walk from Knaresborough town centre, 6.5km (4 miles) from Harrogate, 20km (12 miles) from Ripon, 29km (18 miles) from Leeds and York, and only 6.5km (4 miles) from junction 47 on the A1(M). Local bus & train services are very close along with major rail & road links. We are also well positioned for all local tourist attractions, and have off road car parking in our private garden.

 

Knaresborough Attractions

 
Ebor Mount is located within 5 minutes walk from the centre of the historic and picturesque market town of Knaresborough. There is so much to do from sightseeing to a number of activities, including and not limited to:- Mother Shipton's cave, Petrifying well and woodland walks; Castle and Museum, which also has putting and a bowling green; Boating on the river Nidd and riverside cafes; Tennis, Pitch & Putt and putting green in the grounds of Conyngham Hall; Swimming – Knaresborough’s pool also has a children's pool and water slide; Traditional open air Market every Wednesday; Golf – a selection of good quality 18 hole golf courses within 5 miles of Ebor Mount, including Knaresborough Golf Club; Fishing – A number of river and lake locations.

Knaresborough is an ideal base for touring the dales including the Bronte and Herriot country, or visiting...York 18 miles, Leeds 18 miles, Ripon 12 miles, Harrogate 4 miles...and a wealth of historical houses, castles, abbeys and much more.

By car. Coming from junction 47 of the A1(M), follow the A59 westbound signed for Knaresborough. You will come to a roundabout for A59 and A658. Take the THIRD exit, continiung along the A59 for Knaresborough, and head into the town. You will cross a traffic lights junction with Wetherby Road (B6164): stay on the A59 and proceed up the hill into York Place. Ebor Mount is on the left just before the second traffic lights crossroads.

By train. Regular trains from Leeds, Harrogate and York call at Knaresborough Station. The station is in the centre of town and is a very short walk from the High Street, accessed either from Station Road or Hilton Lane. Knaresborough Station is about 0.4km (0.25 miles) from Ebor Mount.
