Bed and Breakfast Description

 

'Glendevon' is a detached bungalow with attractive gardens, an open outlook and private off-street parking.

There are three guest rooms (one twin, one double and one single). The twin room, which is en-suite, is on the ground floor. The double and single rooms are upstairs.

All rooms are centrally heated and tastefully furnished with wash hand basin, tea / coffee making facilities and colour television. A detailed information folder is provided in each room. A residents' lounge is also available.

 

Edinburgh Attractions

 
There are numerous international restaurants, bars and coffee shops within a few minutes walk.

It is situated on a good bus route with an excellent and frequent service to the city centre (15 minute journey) and is only 3 miles from Edinburgh International Airport. It is also conveniently located for the A720 (City Bypass), the Forth Road Bridge and all major routes leading to the city from the north, south and west.
 

B&B Location
 
From Edinburgh Airport ~ Take a No. 100 bus from the front of the terminal building and ask the driver to be allowed off at Drumbrae Roundabout. Alight at that stop (in St John's Road) and walk back about 100 yards to Glasgow Road. 'Glendevon' is about 200 yards on the right in Glasgow Road.

From Edinburgh City Centre ~ Take a No.31 bus from a bus stop on the south side of Princes Street (the side of the street opposite the shops). The destination board should read 'East Craigs'. Alight at the first stop beyond Drumbrae Roundabout. This is the only roundabout during the journey. 'Glendevon' is about 100 yards beyond that on the other side of the road.

From Waverley Station ~ Leave the station and walk up into Princes Street. Take a No.31 bus from a bus stop on the south side of Princes Street (the side of the street opposite the shops). From St. Andrew Square Bus Station ~ Leave the bus station by the St. Andrew Square exit.

In St. Andrew Square turn left and walk down into Princes Street. Take a No.31 bus from a bus stop on the south side of Princes Street (the side of the street opposite the shops). The destination board should read 'East Craigs'. Alight at the first stop beyond Drumbrae Roundabout. This is the only roundabout during the journey. 'Glendevon' is about 100 yards beyond that on the other side of the road.
