Bed and Breakfast Description

 

Under the new management of Peter and Marie Lake the farmhouse has been refurbished to a high standard with all rooms having an open view over the countryside. Nearby Druridge Bay Country Park offers the countryside pursuits of bird wathching, walking, sailing and canoeing. The farmhouse offers bedrooms with en suite facilities. All rooms have TV, Tea and Coffee making facilities. For your relaxation a spacious guests lounge is available.

Situated sixteen miles north east of Newcastle upon Tyne on the Northumbrian Coastal Route, Hagg Farm Bed & Breakfast is ideally placed for the the tourist. For those who are keen nature enthusiasts there is the nearby attractions of Cresswell Ponds, rich with Bird and Wildlife and also Druridge Bay with its miles of sandy beaches.

Hagg Farmhouse B & B lies at the start of the Northumberland Costal Route. All the castles such as Bamburgh (left) with its beautiful sandy beaches, Warkworth, Dunstanburgh, Alnwick and Lindisfarne are all within 40 mins by car. Alnwick recently voted the most popular place in Britain to live, lies 17 miles north.

Head west on B1307/St Marys Pl toward B1307/Northumberland St
Continue to follow B1307 233 ft
B1307 turns slightly right and becomes B1318/Northumberland St
Continue to follow B1318 1.2 mi
At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto A189/Jesmond Dene Rd 0.5 mi
Turn left at A189/Matthew Bank
Continue to follow A189 0.6 mi
At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto A191/Benton Park Rd 171 ft
At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto A189/Killingworth Rd
Continue to follow A189
Go through 2 roundabouts 1.5 mi
At the roundabout, take the 1st exit and stay on A189
