A walk around the farm can be arranged subject to the farmer being available!! If you enjoy walking there are many local walks including The Hertfordshire Way which crosses our lane only 250 yards away. We have many local pubs that offer good fresh food a short drive away from the farm.

Cambridge is 20 miles away with its University and the unforgettable King's College. Why not try a bus tour around the city and complete the day with a punt down the river. Only a short drive from Cambridge is Ely Cathedral with its magnificent stained glass windows.

The Duxford Imperial War Museum is an exciting and memorable day out. The B17 Flying Fortress, SR-71 Blackbird, F111 and as well as the unforgettable Spitfire and Concorde are only a few of the many planes at this museum. Regular Air Shows are held during the year.

Not far from the charming town of Saffron Walden is the Jacobean mansion Audley End House set in a Capability Brown designed parkland. Audley End offers musical evenings with fireworks during the summer. Close to Saffron Walden in the village of Stansted Mountfitchet is an excellent venue for children at Mountfitchet Castle and Toy Museum.

Nuthampstead Shooting Ground provides trap facilities from the beginner through to Olympic standards. Also to be found at Nuthampstead is the memorial for the American service men of the 398 Squadron who served at Nuthampstead during World War II.
