Bed and Breakfast Description

 

This lovely farmhouse bed and breakfast is situated on the A10 equidistant between Hertford and Cambridge. Next to the farmhouse is the Old Dairy, a spacious double/twin room with en suite shower room, situated on the ground floor overlooking the garden! There are also two twin rooms with use of bathroom or shower room on the first floor. All rooms have colour TV, coffee/tea making facilities and hair dryer.

The 17th century Dovecote in the middle of the garden has been carefully restored and is a lovely place to relax and unwind for a few days. And with the function rooms at Bluntswood Hall on our doorstep, it has become a popular bridal suite. Delicious Aga cooked breakfasts are served in the dining room and we can cater for special diets by prior arrangement. There is a log fire in the guest drawing room on cooler days where you can enjoy afternoon tea with scones or home made cakes.

Your hostess is happy to help with information on the area. She is a blue badge tourist guide and speaks French, Dutch, German and Spanish.

 

Buntingford Attractions

 
Situated on the A10, Chipping Hall is 30 minutes from Cambridge (18 miles), whilst the Imperial War Museum at Duxford, Wimpole hall, Audley End and Knebworth house are only a few miles away.

On the farm are several footpaths leading to picturesque nearby villages.
