Bed and Breakfast Description

 

Our guest accommodation takes up half the house and we only ever have one set of guests at a time. You have a choice of a beautiful double room with a dressing room which converts seamlessly to accommodate 2 children if necessary, or a sweet twin room originally the maids bedroom. Alternatively for groups of friends take both rooms and spread out. The rooms are on their own private landing far from our family rooms and are accessed by their own staircase. Downstairs, your own front door leads to the snug and on to the sitting/dining room which is again exclusively for guests use.

The Master suite:
This is a lovely double bedroom with an adjoining room which acts as a dressing room but also accommodates two single beds for families. There is a TV, tea and coffee making facilities and towels are provided.

The Maids room:
This is a cosy twin room with lovely views down the valley. Again, equipped with TV, tea and coffee making facilities and towels are provided.

The bathroom is situated on the landing opposite the Master Suite. It is fully equipped with a bath with shower over. This is a totally private bathroom as this landing is separated from the main part of the house.

 

Bridgnorth Attractions

 
One of Bridgnorths' main attractions is the Severn Valley Railway which can be reached from Little Brug via a footpath which runs from the bottom of our drive to the rear of the railway. A five minute walk is all it takes to be transported back to the bygone era of steam travel. From the house you can hear the whistles and see the plumes of steam rising above the trees as the trains make their daily journeys to Kidderminster and back. The CAMRA listed Railwayman's Arms is situated on the platform and is a wonderful place to sit and enjoy some fine real ales while watching the coming and goings of the station.

We are two minutes walk from the Severn Valley Railway across the field and only 10 minutes walk from Bridgnorth town centre.
