Bed and Breakfast Description

 

Set over two floors, the completely private accommodation has a separate lounge with flat screen television, sofa and ample room to relax. Upstairs there is a landing area with desk providing fantastic views of the river Lea. Off the landing is the bedroom with tea and coffee making facilities, double bed with luxurious bedding, and modern bathroom with shower and bath as well as underfloor heating.

A desk and reading light is provided on the landing area that provide a tranquil setting with views across the river and fields, high speed wireless broadband is permanently available at no extra charge.

 

Luton Attractions

 
For lovers of the outdoors fishing is available by arrangement, there is access to the Lea Valley Walk and there is an abundance of birds on the River for birdwatchers.
 

B&B Location
 
Hyde Mill is in an ideal location, within a rural setting yet within 10 minutes of Luton airport, 5 minutes from junction 10 of the M1, 15 minutes from the A1 junction 4 at Hatfield, 5 minutes from Harpenden train station with direct train to London (Kings Cross 25 minutes).

Directions from M1 junction 10:
At roundabout turn right towards Harpenden and St Albans on A1081. Take 1st left signposted New Mill End. At crossroads turn right towards Wheathampstead on B653. Drive through the village of East Hyde and we are located approx half a mile on the RHS after the village.

Directions from A1(M) junction 4:
At roundabout take exit signposted A6129 Welwyn Garden City and B653 Wheathampstead. Follow signs to Wheathampstead on B653. You will by-pass Wheathampstead and drive through the village of Batford. You will enter a 40mph limit and we are located after approx 1 mile on the LHS.

Airport car parking is available by arrangement.
