Bed and Breakfast Description

 

The Lawns is set within 25 acres of garden, meadow and young woodland, all of which are managed with consideration for the environment. Relax in the peace and tranquillity of our 350 year old Herefordshire farmhouse, the spacious interior has a wealth of beams, a deep well and much exposed sandstone walling.
Surrounded by gardens, meadows and Guinea Wood, The Lawns assures you a peaceful, quiet location within the beamed farmhouse where you have the choice of double or twin room, en suite or private bathroom. TV, hospitality tray and many little extras.

Breakfast ingredients are sourced locally in as far as possible: try Anne's marmalade, Melodie's jams and single variety apple juice from Jus.

 

Wormelow Attractions

 
Hereford Cathedral home to the famous Mappa Mundi is without doubt Herefordshire's star attraction. The fine Cathedral also houses a splendid Chained Library. There are several interesting museums, including the Cider Museum within the City.

Herefordshire is noted for its truely rural countryside where an array of gourmet quality food is raised from Hereford Beef to Asparagus and delicious Strawberries which you may sample at breakfast from late May to September. Produce may be purchased at Pengethley and other Farm Shops around the County, so bring your cooler bag!

There are many ancient Churches, Kilpeck being close by, charming Market Towns, the Wye Valley and Forest of Dean to explore. Hay-On-Wye noted for it's secondhand Book shops, many superb Restaurants and Pubs to enjoy and if you like adventure; why not canoe, kayak or climb at Symonds Yat.
