Bed and Breakfast Description

 

We have been in Buxton now since August 2004 & it took until July 2005 to finish the renovation & decoration - just in time for that years Opera Festival, Fringe Festival & the Gilbert & Sullivan festival. Buxton has so much to offer all music lovers, walkers/ramblers & visitors.

We have a range of double and twin rooms available. We supply a cafetiere with Fair Trade coffee, tea & shortbread or anything else you may require (within reason!)- please just ask! There are the usual toiletries plus, cotton wool & tissues. There are also broadband internet connections in every room (or wireless if your laptop supports this), hairdryers & Sky TV in all rooms...oh yes & a little tipple of sherry!

Our dining room has been decorated to be as close to a Garden Room as we could make it! Lots of cool greens & plenty plants. We only use local produce as far as we can. Mr Mycock, the butcher, is extrmely helpfull! We will be happy to make anything (within reason!) for breakfast. We will also supply you with a packed lunch, if you can give us a little bit of warning. We also do our utmost to cater for all kinds of dietary requirements; vegetarian, vegan & all kinds of medical diets (prior notice would be good!)

The stunning Chatsworth House & the village of Hathersage are all within a short drive from Buxton, both places were used in the making of the Pride & Prejudice film.
