The Coach House aims to offer the very best accommodation and hospitality in all seasons. The River Greta with it's Brignal Banks, painted by artists John Sell Cotman and J. M. W. Turner, runs along the western boundary of the estate, where guests may fish for brown trout.
The house offers two twin-bedded letting rooms; one completely en-suite, one with private bathroom, and a family room with a double bed and private bathroom. Each room has tea and coffee-making facilities. There is a TV in two of the bedrooms, with another available for the third. The rooms are beautifully furnished with comfortable bed linen, modern beds and soft furnishings. The spacious bathrooms, each with shower and bath, have fitted carpets and all modern facilities, hot water and heated towel rails.
There is a Residents Drawing Room, with log fire, and a Dining Room to seat up to fourteen. The house is warmed by log fires and oil-fired central heating in all rooms, with beautiful rural views looking out to the countryside and the River Greta.
Upon your arrival you will receive a warm welcome and of tea or coffee in the drawing room. The Coach House offers a very fine Yorkshire Breakfast each morning, consisting of fine cooking with much home produce. Three-course evening meals are available by appointment in the dining room, if required, and the area is well provided for by excellent restaurants and pubs. |
