Bed and Breakfast Description

 

Our farmhouse and holiday cottage nestle in nearly nine private acres of garden, woodland and meadow, throughout which we are careful to protect the environment and its wildlife.

Brook Farm has two bedrooms for Bed and Breakfast. The Orchard Room is a double bedded room with its private bathroom with bath and shower right next door. The Blue Room is a double bedded room with an ensuite shower room. Both rooms have everything you would expect including, TV, hairdryers and wireless internet access. The bathrooms have nice warm towel rails.

Breakfast is served in the dining room. There is a private sitting room for guests with a cosy wood burning stove and tea making facilities with fresh milk daily.

 

Tenbury Wells Attractions

 
Some of the good reasons to visit Brook Farm:

To enjoy the beautiful Marches countryside and walk along Offa’s Dyke.

To taste the local cuisine in and around Ludlow – Britain’s first ‘Cittaslow’ – a beautiful place renowned for its food and the only town outside London to have more than one Michelin starred restaurant.

To visit the black and white villages and towns of Herefordshire and sample cider and cheese along the way.

To visit the many castles, stately homes and historic sights of the Welsh Marches, or to browse the antique shops in Leominster and Ludlow.

To enjoy lovely local gardens or simply to sit quietly in our meadow and watch the butterflies.
 

B&B Location
 
From Leominster Take the A49 towards Ludlow. After about half a mile turn right signed Leysters. Follow for several miles, eventually through Leysters. After Leysters you will come down a big hill at the bottom of which is a left turn to Berrington. Follow to the very end where you will find Brook Farm on your left.

From Ludlow Take the A49 towards Leominster. At Woofferton (Little Chef and Salway Arms on your right) turn left onto the A456 towards Tenbury Wells, and after a mile or two, you come to Little Hereford and then a big grey bridge over the River Teme, and a pub called the Temeside. Turn right to Leysters immediately before the bridge. After a few yards, turn left (signposted Berrington), and keep going for somewhat over a mile. You will pass one road to the right (Field Lane), and then come down a hill past a large red sandstone farmhouse on the left, over a little hump backed bridge, to a sharp left bend. Brook Farm is on the right, between the bridge and the bend.
