Built in 1875 previously owned by The Finch Hatton Family, thus taking it's name from the family crest, used as a hunting lodge by Lord Finch Hatton featured in the film " Out of Africa" and based on his life story. Now boasting of 8 letting rooms, 2 restaurants, 2 bars, outside drinking areas and large car parking facility.
The Finch Hatton is steeped in history and is set in the picturesque village of Ewerby, surrounded by open fields makes this venue popular with walkers and cyclists alike. Frequented by villagers and locals it presents a warm and friendly atmosphere. Terry, Dot and the team support local micro breweries and have 4 cask ales to offer the discerning drinker.
The Finch Restaurant - Seating 34, this elegantly designed chandeliered setting offers fully clothed tables, giving the restaurant a relaxing formal dining experience.
The Gallery Restaurant - Recently refurbished and seating up to 60, the Tudor style setting, displaying local artwork and prints, presents comfortable leather seating around fully clothed tables to give a relaxed experience. It is ideal for small and large parties alike and private hire. |
