Welcome to the Poachers Den and Ecklinville. Ecklinville is the main house and has recently been renovated and redecorated to a high standard. The property is ideally situated only a few minutes walk from Holbeach town centre and just 200 yards away from the nearest pub!
Accommodation comprises a double room, a family room and a single room. There is a guest's lounge and also a separate dining room. At the rear of the house there are two acres of extensive gardens which are open to use by guests. The twin room has 2 single beds & en-suite bathroom. The family room has one double bed and one single bed and also has en-suite bathroom facilities. The single room has a single bed but can accommodate twin beds if so required. There are private bathroom facilities across the hallway. All rooms have colour television and hair dryer.
Guests have the use of their own private lounge, which is decorated to a high standard and has very comfortable furniture. Breakfast is taken in the separate dining room. Bed and Breakfast accommodation is also available in Poachers Den cottage.
Poachers Den is a recently renovated, self contained, detached cottage within the grounds of Ecklinville and is available on either a self catering or bed & breakfast basis.
Accommodation comprises a twin room and a double room (with four poster bed) both with en suite bathrooms including a bath and separate shower. There is a well-furnished sitting room along with a separate dining room. At the rear of the cottage there is a conservatory/sun lounge facing the extensive gardens. There is also a well equipped kitchen where you will find everything that you need to make your stay a comfortable one. |

Whether you are here to relax or try something a little more adventurous, there is plenty to do and see in the Fens. There is something for everyone, from fun for the family through to a shopaholic's paradise, culture vultures through to twitchers, it is all here in and around Holbeach.
Enjoy the Baytree Owl Centre, Weston, where you will find many of our feathered friends from around the world. Also includes Baytree Garden Centre and Flower Bulb Museum. Or take a trip to Spalding and visit the Butterfly and Wildlife Park where you can walk through a tropical paradise and visit the reptile house as well as being awed by the majestic birds of prey flying displays. Bird watchers will really enjoy the RSPB sanctuary at Freiston Shore, one of the RSPB's newest reserves, aiming to link conservation with sea defence to benefit wildlife and people.
For stage and screen visit the South Holland Centre, Spalding. Situated in the town centre, it provides a diverse range of arts and entertainment including theatre, dance, music, comedy and pantomime, with approximately 100 live performances and over 250 cinema screenings each year. For family fun try out Laser Storm, Spalding, where the big kid in you can wage war in the purpose built laser fighting arena. Or for the younger members of the family there is also Fun Farm, Spalding, a large indoor and outdoor adventure play facility with loads of fun things for the small ones. There is also a cafe and gift shop on site. Alternatively, take it easy on the water with Maritime Leisure Cruises, operating out of Boston or Wisbech. Laze away on the river or explore The Wash, the choice is yours. |

Poachers Den and Ecklinville are located on the southern outskirts of Holbeach, a market town right in the middle of the Fens.
You can reach Holbeach on the A17 from the East and North, or on the A151 from the West. Poachers Den stands on the B1168 (Fen Road) coming South out of Holbeach, just a couple of houses past the Tudor Way turning.
