Bed and Breakfast Description

 

Back in the early 1900’s it served as the village post office. But today the cottage offers luxury Bed and Breakfast accommodation and a warm welcome from your hosts Lyn and John. We will make every effort to ensure that your stay at Poplar Cottage is as comfortable, relaxing and enjoyable as possible.

In each of our guest rooms you will discover elegant surroundings and superb facilities that create a haven of relaxation enabling you to begin your day rested and rejuvenated. All rooms offer en-suite facilities, which include: colour tv with dvd and freeview, tea and coffee making facilities, a mini-fridge, hairdryer and bath robes. Guests can also enjoy free wireless broadband internet access.

Guests may enjoy a traditional full English or Continental breakfast served in our dining room. Great pride is taken in sourcing local produce which includes using only free range eggs and the finest cured bacon and sausages from an award-winning butcher.

 

Malvern Attractions

 
Poplar Cottage lays perfectly placed for many local attractions, including: Malvern Theatre, Three Counties Showground, Elgar’s birthplace and the famous Malvern hills.

Malvern town and the surrounding area offer an excellent selection of shops, cafe’s, restaurants and pubs.

Although Malvern is set deep into the beautiful south Worcestershire countryside, it’s well within reach of some great places like Hereford which is 22 miles and historic Worcester at only 6 miles away. You can even reach Birmingham in around 45 minutes on a good day!
