Ben Craig Guest House is listed with the Scottish Tourist Board and our high ratings are reflected throughout this Victorian property, with its original period furniture and soft furnishings. Scotland is known the world over for its hospitality and at our family run residence this welcoming atmosphere is echoed throughout.
We are conveniently located in the Southside of Edinburgh within reasonable walking distance of the historic Old Town, the Museum of Scotland, the Scottish Parliament Buildings, numerous galleries and many more places of interest.
The area is well served by a bus service and, with secure parking at both the front and rear of the house, you can leave your car and enjoy a stress free day in the city, sightseeing or shopping, and in the evening perhaps take in a show. During the world famous Edinburgh International Festival held in August and September many of the venues are virtually our doorstep.
Ben Craig Guest House has a range of room types, from single and double or twin rooms, to triple and family rooms.
All rooms are tastefully decorated and furnished in a complimentary fashion to a very high standard. En-suite facilities in all rooms add to the visitor's comfort and enjoyment, as does the full central heating. Colour TV is a fixture within each room though with so much to see and do in Scotland's Capital, “couch potatoes” are rarely seen. A radio/alarm, hairdryer and tea and coffee making facilities are all there for our guests' further convenience. Cots and additional beds are available for small family groups.
Parking & transportation:
Free secure parking spaces at the front and rear of Ben Craig are a real bonus in a major city, while there is also additional free on-street parking on the adjoining side street.

A laundry service is available if required, as is the use of an ironing board and of course, iron. |
