Bed and Breakfast Description

Built in 1892 as part of the Earl Manvers Holme Pierrepont Estate, this pair of former farm workers’ cottages were restored and converted to a single dwelling by the present owners in 1984. The cottage stands in an acre of garden with hard tennis court and is directly opposite the main entrance to the National Water Sports Centre and only three miles from the centre of Nottingham. All bedrooms have colour tv, tea and coffee making facilities and wash hand basins or en suite wc and shower.



Nottingham Attractions

The historic Holme Pierrepont Hall is within 1 mile and is open to the public and available for weddings and conferences etc. The world famous Trent Bridge Cricket Ground is about two miles away, and other sporting amenities in Nottingham include: The National Ice Centre, Nottingham Tennis Centre, Nottingham Race Course, Highfields Hockey Centre, Nottingham Forest Football Club & Notts County Football Club.

B&B Location

Follow the brown and white signs to the National Water Sports Centre at Holme Pierrepont. Past the Water Sports Centre camping and caravan park on your right and Holme Grange Cottage is about 500 yards further on the right hand side just before the main entrance gates.

There is a regular bus service to the City from one mile of Holme Grange Cottage, or at weekends and bank holidays within two hundred yards.
