Bed and Breakfast Description

 

Sutton Lodge is a mixed stock and arable farm with some 600 acres. Amongst those animals you will see grazing is a suckler herd of South Devon cows, a couple of pedigree bulls, and a flock of Berrichon du Cher sheep. Our guest rooms have been purpose built and are all decorated in a similar style, sympathetic to the features of the converted barn. They are spacious and all have ensuite bathrooms, the twin rooms offer a bath with shower head whilst the double has a shower.

The two twin bedrooms open out onto the courtyard enabling you to park right outside the door. We can also provide parking behind lock gates if this is preferable. The rooms are all fitted with TV and coffee/tea making facilities. We also have an iron, hair dryer and travel cot available on request. Breakfast is served in our purpose built Breakfast room a few steps away from your room. We have an extensive menu but will cater to any needs on request. We look forward to meeting you at The Lodge - please do not hesitate to ring if you have any specific requirements.

The village of Sutton Bassett is central to many tourist attractions like Rutland Water, Rockingham Speedway, Rockingham Castle, Boughton Castle, and Foxton Locks, while a host of leisure activities such as - trout fishing, golf, walking, sailing, windsurfing, and bird watching are also on hand.
