Bed and Breakfast Description

 

Double/twin/or single room available in converted coach house(rural location only 50 yards off Cotswold way footpath).Room has double French doors overlooking countryside. TV and tea and coffee making facilities.  Private Bathroom adjacent to room.  £25 pp per night, including breakfast.

Full English breakfast or continental included in price.  Packed lunches and evening meal available on request. Vegetarians catered for but please notify at time of booking.Ther are two public houses within walking distance one is a friendly country pub and the other is a Best Western hotel, both serve excellent food for evening meals

 

Tormarton Attractions

 
Situated midway between Bath and Bristol approximately 11 miles each way and convenient for M4.For walkers we are just 50 yards off the Cotswold Way footpath. The market town of Chipping Sodbury is 5 miles away and Westonbirt Arboretum 7 miles. NT Durham House 2 miles and Badminton House (for Three Day Horse Trials) is 4 miles.  Our house is on the Cotswold Way and there are many lovely walks in the vicinity.  The picturesque village of Castle Combe is only 4 miles away and has featured in many period films.

We have no special conditions as such and pets are welcome, although we have a retriever ourselves which is very friendly.  The nearest pub is ½ mile away as is the nearest restaurant only ½ mile away.

The pub is the Portcullis Inn (also known as the Major’s Retreat) and the restaurant is within the Compass Inn.

M4 at junction 18 then A46 towards Stroud.  Take first right off A46 signed towards Acton Turville and Tormarton.  Go past Compass Inn and take first right after Inn into Tormarton village itself and then immediately first right again up small lane where Old Hundred Coach House is second house on left.  There is parking.
