The White Horse Inn, is set in the picturesque village of Empingham in Rutland. As a family owned business carefully run by Sarah and Ian Sharp, the value of a friendly welcome is never overlooked. So, whether you want a quiet drink, or some good food, the White Horse Inn is the perfect setting to sit back and unwind.
The guest rooms at the White Horse Inn are individually styled, comfortable and welcoming. We have thirteen rooms which include single, double, twin and family rooms. Nine of our rooms are located in the courtyard, with some being suitable for our disabled guests. The other four rooms are in the main building. All rooms have en-suite facilities, colour televisions, direct dial telephones along with tea and coffee making facilities. For that special occasion, or that little bit of luxury, why not stay in our four-poster room. You could even enhance the romance by ordering a bottle of champagne for your arrival.
Our extensive menu is available seven days a week and offers a good selection of traditional and modern cuisine. Dishes are all freshly prepared and cooked to order with the 'daily specials board' widening our menu further. Our chefs are more than willing to cater for any dietary needs, should this be required, please let us know. Our selection of desserts are just too tempting for those with a sweet tooth to resist. Traditional Sunday lunch is always available from 12noon to 2.15pm and on Sunday evening from 7pm to 9pm. Our wine list offers something to accompany your meal on any occasion, with our 'Wine of the Month' offering yet another selection for you to choose from and perhaps find your next favourite. |
