Bed and Breakfast Description

 

Welcome to Foggam Barn Country Bed & Breakfast. Foggam Barn is a superb example of luxury guest accommodation, set in beautiful grounds in the small village of Box, 5 miles from Bath. It is built on the side of a valley and has views stretching for several miles.

Enjoy comfort, service and facilities, together with a warm and friendly welcome. All guest rooms are equipped to a very high standard with antique furniture and fittings, offering a truly luxurious 'home from home' feel. Breakfast is taken in the conservatory over-looking the gardens and woodland beyond, or weather permitting on the large terrace.

Foggam Barn was originally a tithe barn built in 1753 and converted to a family house 30 years ago. It is set in landscaped gardens of five acres adjoining farmland offering extensive panoramic countryside views of the Box valley towards Bath.

 

Corsham Attractions

 
Foggam Barn Bed & Breakfast is near many places and makes traveling to such places as Bradford-Upon-Avon and Bath very easy with buses leaving for Bath from the bus stop in Box that is a five minute walk away from the property. There are also many nature trails and the wildlife has it's own place with us and our paddock is a host to many a wild animal.

Directions From Box Village

After 600 yards from Box Village centre turn left after Fogleigh Lodge between the stone pillars, a private driveway signposted Foggam Barn and Fogleigh House. Continue on the right hand private road past the house bearing right until you come to Foggam Barn at the end of the drive.

Directions From Chippenham

Take the A4 from Chippenham and through Corsham. After leaving Corsham for Box, follow the road down the hill towards Box Valley, after passing two garages on the left hand side look for a speed camera sign which is also on the left hand side. You will need to start indicating to turn right at this point. You will see a single street light just outside two stone pillars. Turning into here will take you into Foggam Barn, staying on the right hand side past the large house and taking the road ahead towards Foggam Barn.
