The personal attention to your needs is provided by owners Terrie and Shaun - they provides a bed & breakfast accommodation that customers choose to use again and again. Bonnington farm guest house, Takeley, is a 17th century farmhouse set in two and a half acres of beautiful gardens and scenery close to the ancient woodlands of Hatfield Forest. Whilst this bed & breakfast accommodation is situated less than 2 miles from, and within minutes of, Stansted Airport, it is not under the flightpath and is situated in a very quiet area. Shaun and Terrie Jones look forward to welcoming you.

 

Takeley Attractions

 
With excellent transport links there is a wide variety of attractions within easy travelling distance, including the picturesque villages of Thaxted and Fitchingfield. For military buffs there are the museums of the Imperial War Museum at RAF Duxford and the Secret Nuclear Bunker at Kelvedon Hatch, whilst the nature-lovers amongst you will certainly appreciate Hatfield Forest and many other beautiful nature areas. Mountfitchet Castle, less than 20 minutes away, is a national award-winning, all-weather, all-in-one heritage entertainment complex, providing an exciting day out for the whole family. And of course London is within easy reach, for such national treasures as the Tower of London, the Victoria & Albert museum, Madame Tussauds Waxworks, and the Sherlock Holmes Museum at 221B Baker Street (to name but a few).
