Bed and Breakfast Description

 

We are a Gatwick Airport guesthouse large enough to be comfortable, small enough to be homely and friendly. Melville Lodge Guest House was established in May 1988. With our years of experience we have managed to hone the home like feel of our rooms with many of our guests returning to us on a regular basis. All of our rooms are individually decorated and cosily furnished with standard, En-suite and ground floor rooms available. Each room has its own tea and coffee making facilities, colour television (with over 30 digital channels via FREEVIEW), radio alarm clock, wash basin and fan. Fax facilities, hairdryer, high chair, iron and ironing board are all available on request. We also offer free and unlimited wireless internet access in all rooms.

Breakfast is a sociable affair with every guest seated around a large table encouraging our guests to share their holiday experiences and views. We offer both a healthy English continental and English cooked breakfast served between 7.30 - 8.30 in the mornings. Early risers are provided with a tray of orange juice and cereal in their rooms the night before. Our commitment is to earn your continued confidence and trust. Our pride is to provide you with the best possible service, and every effort is made to ensure that your stay is pleasant and restful. We operate a non smoking establishment and smoking is not allowed inside the guesthouse.

There are many local recreation facilities available including; leisure centre, multiplex cinema, bowling alley and shopping mall. We are within easy walking distance of Horley town centre - Restaurants - Pubs, an ancient Parish Church and a 15th Century Inn. There is easy access to explore the surrounding Surrey and Sussex countryside with its many tourist attractions. Visit the historic Hever Castle or delight in the beauty of the Bluebell Railway and Sheffield Park . Treat the family to a fun day out at Thorpe Park, Chessington World of adventure or Legoland Windsor.

We are located on the Surrey - West Sussex border in South East England and are only 5 minutes from important road, rail and air transport networks. Trains can be caught direct from London Gatwick Airport train station to any mainline station in Great Britain.

From M25 take the M23 then take the Gatwick Airport exit, At the South Terminal roundabout take 2nd Exit signed A23 Redhill, At North Terminal roundabout take 4th Exit signed A23 Redhill, Next roundabout take 3rd Exit signed A23 Redhill, Melville Lodge is the 6th House on the Left.

Nearest Railway Station: Horley  (10  Minutes Walk)
