Bed and Breakfast Description

 

We opened for business in April 2008 having spent 18 months renovating our house and it is now a very comfortable, stylish Bed and Breakfast offering our guests spacious, tastefully decorated bedrooms with new ensuites. Some of our bedrooms have lovely sea views and please ask when booking. We also benefit from having a Free Private Car Park and Free Wifi Access. Breakfast is served in either the conservatory at the front of Coast or in our cosy dining room and great care is taken to provide you with a continental or beautifully home cooked English breakfast. Special diets can be catered for if possible. We welcome trade and corporate business client, we are also child friendly.

It is very easy to unload in front of Coast and we have a free private car park at the rear of the property. Our pretty patio garden is available for guests tosit and relax in and the sun remains in the garden up to 8.00 at night. We are within easy walking distance of the Eastbourne Pier and town centre and many restaurants and bars are close by. Although we have not been open for very long, we have already made an impact on our guests with many making a return booking. We are very hospitable hosts and try to help our guests in any way possible.

 

Eastbourne Attractions

 
Eastbourne has been voted one of the UK’s top resorts and on record has the most sunshine of any town in the whole of the UK. Eastbourne nestles at the foot of the very beautiful South Downs and is only 25 miles from Brighton. Therefore you can enjoy the award winning beaches and wonderful walks either along our flat 6 mile promenade or over our spectacular country downs and Beachy Head. You can access the promenade a few hundred yards from Coast and can walk either to the Pier along to the Bandstand and Holywell which is the start of the beautiful cliffs. In the other direction you can walk to Sovereign Harbour and stroll amongst the beautiful yachts and boats moored there or take a boat trip or relax at one of the many al fresco restaurants of the harbour front. The famous Dotto train starts at the Pier and can take you right along to the Sovereign Harbour. Alternatively you can catch a bus right outside Coast which will take you directly into the Town Centre to explore the many shops.

Eastbourne offers an excellent selection of bars and restaurants to suit your taste many within walking distance of Coast. There are four main Theatres in Eastbourne putting on wonderful shows, concerts dramas etc. and during the summer the Bandstand has weekly open air concerts not to be missed. For walkers, you are in an ideal location to explore the South Downs Way, Beachy Head, the Cuckmere Valley and Friston Forest. For cyclists again you have the magnificent South Downs Way and many interesting villages to explore within cycling distance of Eastbourne. At Coast we can supply facilities for securing your bicycles within our premises when not in use.

Approaching from bypass: Follow signs to the Seafront - proceed in a westerly direction past The Sovereign Centre, straight on and you will see on your left Treasure Island , car park and The Bowling Club. Coast is straight opposite the Bowling Green with a bus stop layby right outside where you can park and unload. Look out for our sign on the front whitewash wall.

Approaching on seafront from a westerly direction: Head to the Pier, carry on in an easterly direction along the seafront. You will pass on your right the Pavilion Tea Rooms, The Redoubt (World War II tank on bank) and Bowling Green. We are opposite the Bowling Green on the left hand side.
