Bed and Breakfast Description

 

Our Deluxe Bed & Breakfast accommodation comprise three generous luxury Suites and two very high quality Bedrooms. The suites each have Super King-size pocket sprung luxury divan beds (that can be converted to twin singles if preferred) and ample storage and are furnished with top textiles and decorations. They also have a comfortable sitting area with a large flat screen TV for digital Freeview and a built in DVD player as well as a tea & coffee making facilities. Each has a private ensuite large bathroom with full bath and 'drench' shower.

Of course each has unsurpassed views of our three acre gardens, the South Downs with Ditchling Beacon, and the countryside comprising the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty which will soon be designated a National Park during the ensuing year. One Bedroom has twin beds and ensuite bathroom with a large walk-in 'drench' shower and the other a Super King-size pocket sprung divan set (that can be converted to twin singles if preferred) and ensuite bathroom with full bath and 'drench' shower. Both have good storage, a flat screen TV for digital Freeview and a built in DVD player, and tea & coffee making facilities. They also enjoy good views of our gardens and surrounding countryside.

All B&B guests have free use of our year round indoor Swimming pool, Sauna and Jaccuzi. There is a large & sumptuous guest lounge with Inglenook Fireplace which has room for all our guests and their visitors to meet and chat or read at one end and at the other end there is a 50 inch flat screen TV with further seating for about six people. We have a richly appointed Dining room in which we serve the full English Breakfast daily and which can be booked (at least 24 hours in advance) to serve meals for parties of 6 to 12 people.

Washbrooks family Farm - overlooking the South Downs at Hurstpierpoint. Children can meet all their favourite farm animals under one roof & play in their large indoor & outdoor play areas & their tea room serves good home cooked food.
Bentley Wildfowl & Motor Museum in Halland - 125 different species can be seen in the 23 acres wildfowl reserve. Cars of every era are in the museum. Attractive licensed tearoom serving lunches, home-made cakes and cream teas.
Drusilla's - on the A27 at Alfriston – No.1 attraction in Sussex for days out with the kids & listed 12th in the Sunday Times 50 Best Days out in Britain.
Glyndebourne - world famous Opera house 10 miles away - offers unique presentations world leading performers unsurpassed standards wonderful opera house & brings the best in opera to all.
English Vine Tours - wine tour experiences offers you the opportunity to visit many of the vineyards, walk through the vines, learn the workings of a winery and taste English wines.
