Bed and Breakfast Description

 

A friendly welcome greets you to this comfortable, beautifully furnished Bed and Breakfast. Gables offers good quality Guest House accommodation for both the business and holiday visitor to Worcester.

Gables B&B provides attractive, good sized rooms all with 32" HD flat screen TV's with Freeview, beverage tray and radio alarm clocks. Bathroom toiletries provided.

Full English or Veg. breakfast in delightful period dining room with individual tables.

Excellent service provided and free taxi ordering service.

There is a large well-lit car park at the rear.

Worcester Cathedral
England's loveliest Cathedral, open every day. Royal tombs, an ancient crypt and chapter house, medieval cloisters. Victorian stained glass. Service three times daily.

Elgar's Birthplace and Museum
Country cottage birthplace, displaying Elgar's desk and family possessions, complemented by modern Elgar Centre.

Royal Worcester Porcelain
The Royal Worcester visitor centre provides guided tours and you see skilled craftsman at work or try your hand at Paint a Plate. The Royal Worcester Bestware & Seconds shops offer a range of quality bone china, porcelain & giftware.

The Commandery
A Grade 1 listed site dating back to the 12th century, The Commandery has had a long and varied history that is reflected in its range of architectural styles from medieval to Victorian.

Greyfriars (National Trust)
Timber framed medieval merchant's house built in c.1480 with panelled rooms, antique textiles, rugs, carpets and furniture. Delightful walled garden.

Severn Valley Railway
16 miles of glorious countryside. Trains operate every weekend throughout the year and daily in the summer season. More than just a train ride. A great day out for all the family!

Eastnor Castle
Magnificent Georgian castle set in the dramatic surroundings of the Malvern Hills. Surrounded by a beautiful deer park, arboretum and lake. Inside this family home you'll find lavish interiors, fine art, medieval armour and much more.

Directions to Gables B&B from Worcester City Centre:

Follow the A44 Leominster road, crossing the River Severn bridge and passing the cricket ground into St. Johns Village. Take the right fork A44 into Bromyard Road. Gables will be found approx 1/4 mile on the right.

Directions to Gables B&B from the M5:

Leave motorway at Junction 7 (Worcester south). Follow signs for Leominster A44. At 5th roundabout, turn right signed Worcester A44 (Bromyard Road). Continue along Bromyard Road, passing under railway bridge. Gables is situated approximately 200 yards past the bridge on the left.
