Bed and Breakfast Description

 

We offer eight fully en-suite bedrooms in our country hotel set in the small village of Playden, within walking distance of Rye. If you are looking for a weekend break or just an overnight stay during the week this is the perfect home from home experience. We have two beautiful, large round bedrooms in the heart of the oasts building. Each room is furnished in a traditional country style with its own colour television as well as tea and coffee making facilities. If your looking for a weekend break or just an overnight stay this is the perfect home from home experience.

We have 2 delightful restaurants within our establishment offering a wide range of locally sourced dishes, along with traditional Sunday roasts, we are sure to cater for all your culinary desires. We also offer an extensive Bar menu which is always available. Whether it be fresh rye bay fish, Romney marsh lamb, Sussex reared beef, or a vegetarian dish our head chef Dean Tarrant produces dishes that will definitely satisfy your taste buds. We are open all day, every day and our food is served at Lunch (12 - 3pm) and Evenings (6 - 9pm).

The ancient town of Rye is situated in the East Sussex countryside, in the South East of England overlooking the River Rother and Romney Marsh. Boasting a diverse mix of medieval, tudor and Georgian architecture situated between a maze of enchanting cobbled streets, this beautiful and historic town offers its visitors a wide range of attractions, shops, restaurants and bars that you will want to visit time and time again.
