Bed and Breakfast Description

 

Welcome to Heather Hill, a new property offering two rooms, both ensuite. Situated in a delightful setting overlooking open countryside. You will be heartily welcomed with a complimentary cup of tea/coffee when you arrive.A full English Breakfast, and a choice of tea, coffee, fruit juices, cereals, toast and jams is also available and is served every morning to all our guests in the dining room.
In your master bedroom is also tea, coffee and biscuits, a hairdryer, and a television with a selection of dvd's. The indoor heated swimming pool may be used at the owners discretion between the times of 07:30-08:30 and 19:30-20:30.

 

Battle Attractions

 
Battle, it all happened at this place in 1066, William the Conqueror landed and fought King Harold, but Harold lost and got it in the eye with an arrow for his pains. The East Sussex town is busy as it is on a main road, but has some interesting little shops and retains a least some of its past, including a Norman church with 13th century paintings, St Mary's, and a nearby 1669 Deanery.
