A visit to Edinburgh is a must at any time of year and what will make your visit complete is the perfect place to stay in the city. A truly warm Scottish welcome awaits you on arrival and combined with the luxurious bedrooms and fabulous fare on offer for breakfast, you will not fail to have a wonderful break. The situation of the hotel could not be better – a stone’s throw from the famous Murrayfield stadium, at the foot of Corstorphine hill where you can take walks that will give you an unimpeded view over the
whole city including Edinburgh Castle – Scotland’s top tourist attraction – to the Pentland Hills beyond.

Our Family room, Twin room and Double rooms are all equipped to the highest standards. Our 11 bedrooms can cater for up to 31 guests in comfort. Rooms are decorated and maintained to a high standard and our spacious, comfortable beds will insure you have a great night’s sleep. Most rooms come with fully tiled en-suite facilities, where you can kick-start your day with an invigorating shower. We also offer disabled facilities with a specially adapted bedroom and en-suite. Cable television, tea and coffee-making facilities along with a range of light refreshments come as standard in every room. Please note that we operate a no smoking policy in the hotel and that pets are permitted by prior arrangement only.

 

Edinburgh Attractions

 
Dominating the city's skyline, the Castle is Edinburgh's most famous landmark. Situated at the top of the Royal Mile with panoramic views over Princes Street, the New Town, the Firth of Forth and the Kingdom of Fife, the Castle is a must for every visitor to Edinburgh. Enjoy the walk from the Castle Esplanade, down Edinburgh's historical Royal Mile, to the splendid Holyrood Palace and The Scottish Parliament, the Castle is less than a 10 minute bus ride away.

Edinburgh Zoo opened in 1913, in leafy hillside parkland just ten minutes from the centre of Edinburgh. Recognised as one of the world's leading zoos, they are involved in many conversation breeding programmes, and give the highest priority to the welfare, both physical and behavioural, of the animals in their care. Just a 5 minute walk from the hotel, visiting the wonderful sights, sounds and smells of the zoo couldn't be easier!!

If the Arts are your thing, then Edinburgh is the place to be. Not only does Edinburgh have a fantastic range of galleries and museums to choose from but it hosts the largest Arts Festival in the world! During the month of August artists from all over the globe converge on Scotland's capital city to take part in and enjoy the International, Fringe, Book, Film and Jazz Festivals to name but a few!

Murrayfield Stadium is only 5 minutes from us and is one of Scotland's finest sporting and entertainment venues. If you are in town for 6 nations action at the home of Scottich Rugby or have come to enjoy one of the many pop or rock concerts staged here, our hotel is ideally situated to make getting to and from the stadium a breeze.

By Car
Head westwards from Princes Street on the A8 for 2 miles and you will find us situated on the right hand side just after the junction at Western Corner.

From Edinburgh International Airport or Glasgow:
By Bus
Only 20 minutes from Edinburgh Airport by bus. Take the Airport bus (No.100) and ask the driver for the nearest stop to Western Corner on Corstorphine Road. Buses depart every 20 minutes

By Car
From the airport, bear left onto the A8 toward Edinburgh City Centre. Continue on this road for 4 miles and we are situated after the Zoo and Murrayfield BUPA Hospital, just after the speed camera on the left hand side before the junction at Western Corner.
