Heatherbank is situated in 6 acres of croft on the edge of open moorland at OS grid reference NM 819639 (Explorer Map 391 or Landranger Map 40). The village of Strontian and Loch Sunart lie below. Strontian is situated at the eastern base of the Ardnamurchan peninsular, the opposite end of which forms the most westerly point of the British mainland. Heatherbank is ideally placed for exploring Loch Sunart, Loch Sheil, the Ardnamurchan Peninsula, Morven, Ardgour, Mull and Iona, Moidart, the Nevis range and Glen Coe. There is also easy access to Oban, Fort William, Mallaig for the Skye ferry and nearby Silver Sands and Loch Morar.
There are six letting bedrooms at Heatherbank (double, twin or triple). At present three of these are en suite and three are standard. We do not have any single rooms and a surcharge is levied for single occupancy (see tariff for details). In addition to having spectacular views, all the bedrooms are laid out and furnished with your comfort in mind. Each room is equipped with colour TV/DVD player (with a selection of DVDs available), tea & coffee making facilities, an electric alarm clock, a hair dryer, an iron and a portable ironing board. Quilts and pillows are feather & down (13.5 anti allergy). Free wi-fi access.
