We accept payment in cash. Our establishment is fitted with central heating throughout. All or some rooms have ensuite facilities. Hairdryers are available in rooms or on request. Internet access available in rooms or residents lounge. We're sorry, we do not accept pets.
There are scenic walks in the surrounding area. Smoking is allowed in some parts of the establishment. All rooms have tea and coffee making facilities. All rooms have TV.

Bed and Breakfast Description

 

Jane and Nigel offer the highest standard of comfort, coupled with a warm, personal and professional service to their small family run bed and breakfast. Whether your stay is on business or for pleasure our aim is to ensure your stay at Finches is an enjoyable and relaxing one.

All bedrooms have the advantage of being housed in a newly built annex giving guests independence and extra privacy. Two bedrooms are located on the ground floor. They are tastefully decorated and furnished to a high standard. Centrally heated with en-suite bathrooms, hair dryer, freeview colour televisions, radio/clock alarm and CD player, hospitality tray with tea and coffee making facilities plus a selection of herbal teas and biscuits (fresh milk available on request). Free wireless internet connection in all rooms.

All guest rooms have modern en-suite facilities, comprising a shower enclosure, toilet, wash-basin, electric shaving socket and are serviced daily to an excellent standard of cleanliness. Courtesy toiletries and fresh towels are also provided.

We also provide a desk and chair in the rooms should your stay with us be on business or to study in Cambridge. Ironing facilities are available on request. A comprehensive pack of local tourist information is available in all rooms.

Some local attractions you may wish to visit are, Anglesey Abbey (National Trust), Botanical Gardens, American Cemetry, Cambridge Museums & Galleries, Ely Cathedral, Imperial War Museum at Duxford, Newmarket Races and Scudamore's Punts.

By Road

From M11 - London/Stansted airport (travelling north)
Exit at Junction 13 and turn right onto the A1303 (Madingley Road).
Continue on this road for approximately 1 mile, passing the 'Park & Ride' on the left.
Turn left onto Storeys Way and follow this road to the end.
Turn left onto Huntingdon Road and travel approximately 1/2 mile, passing the Beefeater on the left and the Felix Hotel on the right.
Just BEFORE the BP petrol station, turn right into Thornton Road.
Finches Bed & Breakfast is the first house on the left hand side.

From A1/A14 (travelling east)
From the A1 join the A14 and proceed approximately 20 miles to Cambridge.
Exit the A14 and follow the signs for Cambridge on the A1307 which will bring you onto Huntingdon Road.
Passing the BP petrol station on your left, take the first left into Thornton Road.
Finches Bed & Breakfast is the first house on the left hand side.
